About FDS
Fiserv Forms & Graphics joined Fiserv in the late 1980’s as a forms and document provider. As one of the earliest Fiserv acquisitions, in addition to fulfilling the needs of our existing clients, the organization fulfilled an important role as the form and document design, printing and warehousing resource serving the needs of Fiserv clients.
The late 1990’s brought a solution based focus to the industry and Fiserv Forms and Graphics became Fiserv Document Solutions. This new name communicated our ongoing focus in continuing to align our organization with the changing business environment, and was the genesis to our eProcurement, online ordering solution.
Fiserv Document Solutions recognized that the eProcurement ordering platform would enhance our service delivery and provide the convenience and customization our clients desired. Over the next few years, the eProcurement tool evolved to include online access to office products, promotional items and logo apparel, in addition to the forms, documents and commercial print resources we are so well known for. And now it provides our clients on-demand and customized access to a broad array of business consumable products and services.
To better communicate the on-demand nature of our eProcurement solution and the breadth of our product and service offering, we chose to rename the organization in 2005 to Fiserv DirectSource (FDS). As the DirectSource for business consumable products and related services, we serve over 3000 clients including, Banks and Savings Banks, Credit Unions, Retailers, Service Organizations, and Professional Firms in addition to the Fiserv family of organizations.
